About Us
Who We Are
We are a 501(c)3 charitable faith-based organization with a commitment and a vision to meet the needs of our community by providing a safe place to have fun and find resources. We are staffed by a wonderful team of committed volunteers.
Our History
The Renaissance Family Center was founded in December, 2009, and officially opened on January 1, 2010, as a community resource provider for those in need of assistance.
The center houses the Windham Branch of the Portage County District Library, The Salvation Army Food Pantry and Clothing Room, Second Blessings Thrift Shoppe, The AMETEK Food Forest in the courtyard, a free book room, and more to come. We also have available free health screenings every second Tuesday from 11am-2pm provided by University Hospitals, and Immunization Clinics every 4th Tuesday from 11am-2pm. No appointments necessary!
Through our partners and tenants, the Renaissance Family Center seeks to provide programs and services important to our community.
